 1 - Excess of potato consumption may cause diarrhea.

 2 - Green potatoes are poisonous because they contain 3 - 3 - alkaloids such as solenin, chaconin and arsenic. Excess intake of these chemicals can prove fatal.

 3 - Do not eat spoiled or rotten potatoes as they Jcan have toxic effects in the body.

 4 - Raw potato is harmful for pregnant women but fried potatoes can be eaten.

 5 - Potato glycemic index (above 80) is very high, so people who are obese or are trying to lose weight or are suffering from diabetes, people should avoid excessive consumption of potatoes.

 6 - Increased consumption of potato increases complications such as blood sugar imbalance, loss of appetite, type 2 diabetes.
